Paola Balla is a Wemba-Wemba and Gunditjmara woman and is an artist, curator, writer and lecturer based at Moondani Balluk Indigenous Academic Centre, Victoria University.
Paola is from the Day and Egan Families and grew up in the Koorie community in Echuca on Yorta Yorta Country. Her standpoint is informed by matriarchy, family, country and the lived relationships and relationality of Koorie identity.
